There are no additional fees for usage of the theme. When you purchase a theme that is the only payment that you will make.
Theme developers are paid once for the theme and then provide free support for the duration of your themes usage.

We will periodically release new versions of our themes.
New releases contain bug fixes and in many instances improved or new functionality.

If Shopify release a new feature we will update our themes to support and include that feature. You will be alerted within your Shopify admin that an update is available. This will trigger a new theme version which you can add to your store.
